Wixom, Michigan Speed Traps

I have been pulled over by a police officer who hides in the Loon Lake Elementary parking lots. Usually he is in the one closest to the East side of the school by the fence. They also hide in the staff lot up against the montessory school.

I’ve seen cops parked just inside the Wixom Habitat parking area, across from the intersection where Potter dead-ends into Wixom. They’re usually parked there after dark, once the Habitat closes. Watch your speed crossing, & make sure if you’re coming from Charms, that you know to decrease your speed from 50 to 45 after the light.

Wixom police sit on Charms Rd. east of Sarah Banks Middle School–between the school and Wixom Road on the north side of Charms–the problem is they don’t do it during school hours–they sit there between 5am-6am, when it is dark. I have known numerous people who have gotten tickets here.

Maple Road between Beck Road and Wixom Road, police usually sit just inside of a drive into a condominium complex usually between the hours of 5:30pm to 7pm. Speed limit is 30mph. Usually after you pass the police if you flash your lights as a sign to oncoming traffic people know what you mean, if your flashed…SLOW DOWN cop ahead.
