Interstate 94 near West Bush Lake Road
Multiple officers and state troopers to the right side of Eastbound 94 at Bush Lake Road. All 4 had vehicles pulled over within less than 2 minutes of each other, although traffic was moving at a safe, consistent speed approximately 70 mph. Despite being in Bloomington, pulled over by an officer from Blaine who stated "As you probably noticed, we’re working together today".
West Old Shakopee Road near Irving Avenue
Saturation Traffic enforcement project at this location- Bloomington "Traffic Officer" on motorcycle running a LTI 20-20 UltraLyte LIDAR (Laser) gun on a tripod. The officer was off his bike setup on the south side of the road monitoring eastbound Old Shakopee traffic. Several (5 at the time I passed) out of squads that are parked on Irving Ave So. Officers in traffic vests step out into eastbound Old Shakopee Rd traffic to wave offenders being stopped to pull to the right and stop just south of the location on Irving Ave So.
W 102nd Street near Normandale Boulevard
If you are travelling west on 102nd St. (toward Normandale Blvd.) shortly after school gets out at Jefferson (2:20 p.m.) there is often an officer with a gun standing on the right side of the road just before Normandale Blvd and several police cars waiting in the driveway to the aparentments.
State Highway 169 near Pioneer Trail Crossing
Driving North on 169 from the river past old shakopee road. The speed limit drops from 65 to 55. The officer stands on the north bound ramp with a laser gun and tags people. The he (she) radios the others who are lined up in a line further up the ramp. Just north of old shakopee road hwy 169 goes down hill. If you are not already at 55 on the brakes,(trucks with trailers) you will be at 65 on the glide. The officer is impossible to see when you are going north until it is to late.
Bloomington Freeway Road near West 98th Street
