Brooklyn Center, Minnesota Speed Traps
Brooklyn Boulevard near State Highway 100
There are at least two superb spots for a squad car to remain unseen until it is too late. Be especially careful just east of MN State Highway 100 near the border of Brooklyn Center and Minneapolis– there is a greenhouse parking lot on the north side of Brooklyn Blvd. where I see PD on a regular basis. Nobody is really sure where the 35 mph limit ends and 40 mph begins, but 45 is a completely safe speed though it will probably get you a ticket.
Humblot Avenue near Interstate 100
Right when you get off on 100 to Humbolt and continue to go straight there is a cop station right there they love to sit in apartment parking lots across the street the speed limit is 30 I thought it was 45 so I was going 44. they are jerks about it to. I got 2 in one day $130 each.
All along 63rd from Xeres to Hwy 81
They sit on all the side streets all along 63rd and just wait to tag any one going 2 to 3 miles over the speed limit, yet the limit is not posted any where.
