Interstate 35 near 195 Street
The speed trap is located on I-35 catching Northbound and South Bound Speeders, generally after 11:30-12 am. They sit right under the 195th street bridge, or the ritter farm park bridge as some of you may know it as. Slow Down… 
State Highway 77 – Cedar Ave. near Dodd Road
This is one that’s usually done late at night. Lakeville cops will sit in the median that is about 1-2 miles from Dodd Blvd with the lights off and the radar on.
County Road 50 & I35
An area to watch out for, cops watching speeds, slow down!
Ipava between LHS and Century High
They LOVE this stretch of road, Lakeville has nearly 2x the amount of cops working per citizens then most cities, and they always try to get kids here. This is where all the houses are being built, and is the newer road between century and Lakeville. Around 7-8:00 AM they try to get the kids late for school, and then after 2:00 PM they get everyone speeding away. This goes all the way up to the water treatment facility. They have MANY side streets to sit on, that are hard to see, and also sit in both school’s parking lots, and ames arena lot.
