5/17/11: A Saint Louis County police office in a Camaro with apparent LIDAR pulled me over for doing @75 mph on the other side of the bridge, where, of course, it begins the decline. When going over the bridge, beware.
Lindbergh Boulevard near Tunnel
Bridgeton PD likes to set up speed traps on the new section of Lindbergh Blvd between I-70 and Missouri Bottom Road. The speed limit is posted at 40 MPH but most traffic moves at 55-60 MPH through this area.
Interstate I-270 Southbound near I-70 to Dorsett Road
Two police officers are posted on an overpass shooting radar at I-270 Southbound traffic at lunch hour, usually near the I-70 Interchange. Three patrol cars pull people over between I-70 and Dorsett. It’s always 3 cars and it is multiple days per week, usually.
Interstate 270 near Missouri Bottom Road
Highway Patrol will sit on the exit ramp from Missouri Bottom Road that lets cars onto MO 370 and I-270.
South Lindbergh Road near St. Charles Rock Road
They sit on the other side of the bridge at St. Charles Rock Road
