Motorists come off highway used to going highway speeds of 55+ and go into 35 mph zone quickly

If you’re traveling through this north St. Louis County suburb, BEWARE!! The speed limit on Elizabeth Ave. in Calverton Park is only 25 MPH, even though many other north-county streets under similar conditions have speed limits of 30 or 35, which would be more appropriate here, IMHO. But does the CPPD give a rip about how unreasonably slow the 25 MPH speed limit is? Not on your life! They WILL pull you over for even ONE mile per hour over the speed limit. They are merciless, exploitive, and the ONLY thing they care about is cleaning out your wallet. You’ve been warned…
