when you first start going into town there is a helicopter that is taking speeds, than 2 or 3 miles down the road traffic will start to slow and you will see about 5 patrol cars lined up on the shoulder pulling people over
State Highway 74 near Bill Emerson Bridge
The stretch of Highway 74 that stretches between Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau to the Bill Emerson Bridge (that connects Missouri and Illinois) is a frequent target by city police. The speed limit is only 45 MPH, but the highway looks like an interstate with 4 lanes and is easy to drive going 55+. City police will ticket you for even going 50! Beware!
State Highway 74 near Minnesota Avenue

Gordonville Road
Police radar on Gordonville Road in between William Street and Independence. The police will tuck themselves into a side street on the left past the Boy Scout building if you are heading north on that road.
State Highway 177 near Bertling Road
The speed limit drops from 45 to 35 at this intersection which is a downhill coast. There is also a downhill stopsign where Bertling t’s into 177. An officer usually sits in a lot on the west side of 177 gaurded by an old foundation and some trees.
