Gladstone, Missouri Speed Traps
Oak trafficway heading north from Englewood
As you head north on Oak Trafficway passing Englewood you begin to go down hill approaching 63 st. Police sit in parking lot accross the street from Perkins Restaurant catching drivers heading north. Most Sunday mornings catching church people.
Broadway Street near Englewood Avenue
When going north onto Broadway from Englewood there is a small hill. The speed limit is 25 even going down hill. At the bottom of the hill is a speed limit sign that says 30. If your car speeds up while going down hill you will get a ticket from the officer who sits about three blocks north of there on the right aiming his radar gun at you. They are only interested in your speed while going down hill. Unless you know about this trap you cannot see the officers car as it is hidden by brush. Be aware!
Interstate near Before 72nd Street Crossing
They sit on I-69 on the N. bound side hiding just over the hill.
Interstate 29 near US Highway 169
Gladstone officers tend to sit on the shoulder, running radar in the northbound lanes. I usually notice them there between 5 am-6am or 3pm-6pm. Speed limit is 55, so heads up.
