Glendale, Missouri Speed Traps

There is a White Glendale Police Car, sitting by the big Tornado Siren watching for cars speeding East Bound. They can get on the other side of the road very quick. The speed limit is 30. But the road is like a 4 lane small highway in the middle a suburb neighborhood. 2 lanes going West 2 Going east. Very easy to go over 40. I have seen and heard of people getting pulled over for 60MPH. I do know 2 people that got a ticket for doing 3 MPH over by the Church on Berry and Lockwood.

Glendale has east and westbound Manchester Road between the Rock Hill City Limits just west of Berry to the Kirkwood line west of Sappington Road. They sit in the parking lots that line Manchester and shoot east and westbound traffic. Their favorite haunts are the dry cleaners lot just east of Dierbergs, the parking lot at the Royal Bank, and the lot of the insurance company just east of the Chrysler-Plymouth Dealer.

Police cars are equipped with running radar, so they can get you going either way. Sometimes hide on side streets, will be aggressive in D.W.I>’s, they are big revenue to a cash strapped town.
