Harrisonville, Missouri Speed Traps

Speed limit changes from 55 to 45, then quickly to 35. This 35 speed limit area is often watched by police sitting behind or beside buildings. Anyone over 35 is stopped.

City of Harrisonville police patrol the 1 mile stretch of US71 highway from the State Highway 7 crossing just south of the weigh station and clock northbound traffic. This is out of their jurisdiction, but by the time they catch you, you are in their jurisdiction. Got a speeding ticket for 80 mph when I was really only going 69mph.
