Independence, Missouri Speed Traps

This street is relatively rural, but the speed limit is 25 MPH and not well posted. Southbound traffic has signs, but northbound, well Cops are waitng for you with radar.

Police sit on the inside of the curve on Truman Road east of the M-291 overpass. They radar east bound traffic on Truman where the road is wide and nearly everyone finds it hard to do the 35 mph posted limit.

They are above I-70, on Little Blue Parkway bridge, shooting at speeders, with several popo’s lined up to get ya.

A large portion of Lee’s Summit between 23rd Street and 39th Street is now a double fine area. Signs are posted along the road. The speed limit is 35 and 25 in a small school zone. They take radar almost all the time.
