Ozark, Missouri Speed Traps

City Police routinely sit on any side road on the downhill side of McCracken as you approach Finley River Park. The speed limit drops from 45 to 35 to 25 abruptly. In Spring and Summer the speed signs are sometimes not visible due to foliage until you pass them.

The city has annexed all of US 65 from the Springfield city limits (Evans Road) all the way to FF highway (The Highlandville exit). It’s about ten miles in length and the city, county and state patrol it heavily. They love to sit in medians at the top of hills or under bridges.
