The Pine Lawn Police Department(financially strapped)issued tickets to motorist, in this area for going 2 miles over the speed limit on a hill. Also on Friday nights they gear up with Beverly Hills, Upland Park, Velda Village, and Northwoods to set up a DUI check. However there are rarely any tickets given for this reason. Beware, a simple trip down this corridor could be very costly to your pockets. I avoid the area all together, and I suggest you do the same.
