Sunset Hills, Missouri Speed Traps
State Highway MO 30 near Between I-270 and Lindbergh Street
Sunset Hills Police will sit in the lots of the first businesses as you come in from I-270 towards Lindbergh Blvd, and use radar right as you come over the hill.
Old Gravois Road
This speed trap is at the edge of Sunset Hills’ city limits. They hide along Old Gravois in parking lots or more commonly in a small gravel lot close to the Meramec River bridge. Sunset Hills is notorious for busting people doing even 1-5 miles over (despite what their "officers" want you to think). This area is marked 30mph which is ridiculous considering this is a mostly industrial area and used to be a highway! I guess they’re trying to pay for the new construction they’re planning for this road.
Watson Trail Park
The speed limit is 25 and ther are cops there usually around 10AM and I would think also between 2 and 3PM. They wait for students leacving South Technical High School on West Watson road. They hide on side streets and behind bushes and that is in Watson Trails Park. Do not get caught going more than 25 they have their own police force and they will get you if you go at 26 or higher. There are half and full day students here they are not usually out in the morning but they are usually out after students are released 9:55 AM (around that time) and at 2:20 PM (around that time) They really could be out any time during th day or night but mainly be careful during the times mentioned.
