Plattsmouth, Nebraska Speed Traps
At traffic circles, in school zones, Webster Blvd, all over
This small city is definitely unfriendly territory. Cops hide at the traffic circles, lurk in the 20 mph school zones, on Webster Blvd., and on other streets in the city and stop passing motorists. If you like to play a game of "Gotcha" with the cops and pay traffic fines, then this is the city for you – otherwise, you would do well to avoid the place.
8’th Avenue at Plattsmouth Animal Hospital
At night (and occasionally during daytime), police cruisers sit in the parking lot, facing east with all car lights turned off, monitoring westbound traffic coming up and over the hill through a school zone. You don’t know a police car is there until to late. Speed limit is 25 mph. They can ‘see’ you by radar and visually from about a quarter mile away, and you can’t see them.
Webster Blvd.
