Las Vegas, Nevada Speed Traps
Hacienda Avenue near Durango Drive
Metro on motorcycles are hidden behind subdivison signs on Hacienda between Durango and Rainbow. I’ve seen as many as three cops there at one time. There is usually always somebody pulled over!

Charleston Avenue near Lamb Avenue
There are approximately 6-8 officers constantly at this intersection and they continue all the way down to Nellis and Charleston. They hide by the BIG 5 and radio other officers of speeding, red lights, etc. They are usually there from about 3pm- thru as last as 7pm. I see them there at least 3 times/wk.
2/2008
Torrey Pines Street near Between Alta & Hyde
The distance between signals on this road is well over a mile and a half and speeds can get up in that distance. During the school hours the speed is 15MPH and 25MPH other times which is too slow for this 4 lane road. Heavy radar on both sides of the road at dusk between Alta & Hyde.

Harmon Avenue near Decatur Boulevard
Harmon, between Jones and Decatur is a wide (4 lane plus median lane) beautiful road that is posted at 25mph (vs. similar city streets posted at 45mph). Motorcycle cops lay in wait in the several apartment complex entrances and pick you off! Keep it under 35mph to be safe!

Hualapai Way near Tropicana
Motorcycle cops are hiding behind walls and in neighborhoods on Hualapai south of Tropicana. The speed limit was reduced to 25 after Bishop Gorman High School opened.
