Moncton, New Brunswick Speed Traps
State Highway Trans Canada
On the highway between Moncton and Shediac the RCMP often park in the little lanes connecting either half of the highway (the part where the 4 lanes are split into a 2×2). They hang back behind the tree line and you can’t see them till it’s too late – there are "no turn" signs on next to those turning lanes so you can spot them and slow down before they clock you
Irishtown Road
Just as you pass Caledonia Industrial park heading towards Irishtown from Elmwood drive, there’s a bend in the road and to your right there’s a private road with no trespassing signs posted, they park there and are hidden by a row of trees.
Dieppe Traffic Circle near Champlain Mall
When coming in from Shediac on the 4 lane passing the overpass to enter the traffic circle… I’ve noticed quite a few times the RCMP car is parked on the bottom left when coming in the first right-hand turn to enter circle… you can see him before actually going over the over-pass… Seen quite a few cars getting pulled over in that same area…
Wheeler Boulevard near Collishaw Street
Along Wheeler Blvd the local RCMP will sit under the overpass between Mountain Road and West Main St, especially hard to notice if you are travelling northbound.
Vaughan Harvey
This will hapen mostly on the weekends in the summer. It’s on the the way going to Mountain rd, there is a little turn and they are always after that turn, will check anything possible, especialy the modified cars.
