Horace Greeley Road near Brook Road
Motorcyle officer w/ handheld radar sometimes at Brook Road. Amherst Police car sometimes parked near barn just over the first rise … 30 MPH with no "allowances." Just slow down to 30 MPH after you leave Route 101 at the Cider Mill and you will see the trap within the next 1.5 miles.
Spring Road
Officer pulls into parking lot of the Conservation trailhead. Is out of sight till you pass it. On left heading toward Merrimack, about a mile or so past the turn onto Spring Road from Baboosic Lake Road. Is often there about 9 AM.
On Mont Vernon Rd/Boston Post Rd between Route 13 and Rt.122
In the Summer, motorcycle patrol sits in the dirt pull off on the straightaway between the elementary school and the curves heading towards Mont Vernon/Rt. 13. Officer typically standing out of view and you will not see the motorcycle till you’re pulling over next to it… Additionally, cruisers set up between 5:30 and 7:00am in pull off at the bottom of the hill on Mont Vernon Rd. portion at gated dirt pull off. Be courteous and respect the job that they do and you’ll more than likely get a warning.
Stearns Road
Stearns Road is a popular route to and from the Middle and High Schools. The speed limit is 30mph. Local police will be mobile or in the parking lot of the fire station.
State Route 101 near State Route 101A
Milford and Amherst both enforce this section of road, most often during PM rush hour up to 9-10PM
