Hudson, New Hampshire Speed Traps
Wason Rd across from Market Basket
Since the Stop and Shop across the street closed I’ve seen police stationed many times at the entrance to the parking lot of the abandoned storefront. You can’t see them coming from Lowell Rd because they are just above the crest of the hill, and they are concealed by trees while traveling towards the intersection.
Lowell Road
Lowell Road (3A) and Central steet (111) are constantly under police surveilance. I was pulled over about 3 times in the first 6 months I lived in Hudson and have finally stopped speeding. I set my cruise control to 5 miles over now. Trust me, don’t speed in Hudson!
Lowell Road near Fox Hollow Drive
Police will set up in front of Granite State Glass on either side and watch drivers. While traffic is thick, they will pick you off for inspection stickers. I have been nailed twice in two years, two diffrent cars.
Route 3 Bypass
3 lane Rt3 bypass with a 45 mph speed limit. Watch for Hudson Police in the large grassy median, and watch for cops using laser as you crest the hill as the speed limit drops to 35mph.
Greeley Street
Almost constant radar traps on Greeley Street, which runs from Central Street to Old Derry Road. Lots of neighbors and friends have renamed Greeley Street "Revenue road", as it seems the police department must make lots of money from tickets on Greeley Street.
