Litchfield, New Hampshire Speed Traps
Route 3A / Charles Bancroft Hiwy Litchfield, NH
A police car will follow a line of cars along the road. You are driving in the opposite direction. After you are out of sight the police car does a u-turn and gets up behind you, checking your speed. After that, when a car passes in the opposite direction, the police car does a u-turn and speeds off after that car. They are bored silly. There are no banks to rob here. The police cars are white, full size like a taxi.
Incinerator Drive
Litchfield Police, in cooperation with the New Hampshire State Police Air Support Unit, have been targeting this area heavily. Enforcement is highest on days that the town dump is open.
Route 3A
Litchfield police are constantly watching route 3A from start to finish. Their cop cars are white without lights on the top (the lights are on the back), and they will often tailgate you to make you speed up, and pull you over. Be very careful on this road!
