Manchester, New Hampshire Speed Traps
Union Street near River/N River Road
Anywhere within a few miles of Union St.’s termination in the North, at River Road/N River Road, cops hang out around dusk/evening/night and pull people over. Speed limit is 30 even though it’s not only a main road but also an absolute straightaway for miles.
Interstate 93 near Exit Number 8
When coming around the corner on I-93 after going over the bridge but before exit 8 there is a spot for troopers to hang out on the leFort They will look towards traffic and have a great look on the passing lane. I know because I just got bagged going 85 in the posted limit of 55. Take it slow through here!
Interstate 93N near just after the bridge after the 93S exit
State Police sit in the breakdown lane here and they ticket cars that speed.
E. Industrial Park Drive near Holt Avenue
A Police Officer has been sitting North of Holt Ave on the East side of Industrial Park Drive alongside what appears to be a utility building…impossible to see when heading south (towards Island Pond Rd.). It doesn’t help that the speed limit is only 30 on what could easily be a 45mph zone.
Brown Avenue near Cascade Circle
Manchester PD parks on Cascade Circle near the airport junction, and uses Laser to clock southbound traffic heading toward the airport. Usually seen during PM rush hour. If you keep your eyes peeled as you round the curve you can see them, hopefully before they "see" you.
