Merrimack, New Hampshire Speed Traps
Turkey Hill Rd right after Wintergreen Dr (Olympic Village)
There is a natural inlet on this curved road where the speed limit is 30 MPH the whole stretch from Amherst St to where Turkey Hill take a right turn. At this inlet a radar trap is typically sitting there in better weather waiting for the right person to be going 40 MPH + — Up to 35 you will slide by. 90% of the traffic abides the 30 MPH limit knowing it is enforced.
Backriver Road near Belmont Drive
Bottom of Belmont Dr at intersection of Backriver Road. 1/4 mile from South Bound entry ramp 12. Mostly looking North for pepole taking Backriver road to avoid Bedford Tolls on Rt3.
Dena Street near Off Peaslee
Residential Neighborhood
Police are frequently at the intersection of Dena and Hawthorne with radar gun, presumably at the behest of a disgruntled resident.
Continental Boulevard near Everett Turnpike
Going towards Exit 10 could be North or South bound depending the mood of the officer. There is usually an officer posted on either side of the road by the light going North or South bound on the Blvd.with a radar gun or any other device.
Everett Turnpike near Exit Number 40129
When approaching Exit 11 heading north, the trap is just before the exits turn off. When heading south, there are numerous locations cruisers sit at along the highway just before Exit 12. Between Exit 11 and the toll booths after Exit 12 I have counted atleast 4 locations designed for officers to sit. The one before Exit 11 is the most used. During heavy traffic do not drive in a way that would make you stick out from the rest of traffic, and stay under 80 MPH, regardless of tailgaters. During light to almost no traffic try to stay atmost to 70-75 through this area.
