Nashua, New Hampshire Speed Traps
State Route 3 near Between exit 4 and 2
Route 3 Southbond between Exit #4 and #2 there is a State Trooper parked under the overpass. He is typically there in the afternoon 2PM – 6PM He is there to enforce and I see it daily.
State Route 3 South near Exit Number 3
A single cruiser, sometimes aided by a motorcycle officer will station themselves on the south bound lanes of the Daniel Webster Highway just around a corner for traffic entering on Exit 3 from the Everett Turnpike or South Main Street. The trap is about .6 miles from entering the DW Highway on the right after a couple of set back homes.
State Route 3 South near Nashua Loop
Coming down Rte. 3 S just entering Nashua from Merrimack where the highway expands from 2 lanes to more than 4, there is usually a green unmarked Malibu waiting. NH favors these, I’ve also seen a gold one.
This one was parked on the far right hand breakdown lane, heading south, using Lidar bouncing off the driver side mirror. It’s just over the crest of the hill so there’s no visual, as the mountie obviously needs visual to pick you up as well.
State Route 3 near Exit Number 1
As you head south on Rte 3 and pass the Spit Brook Rd exit, the road has a big curve to the right just before the Mass state line. On the left, there is typically a big trap — this past weekend there were 5-6 mounties with lots of cars pulled over — on the left hand side of the highway.
My V1 wasn’t going off but I’m suspecting they’re using instant on radar or Lidar, as it was not a two stage operation (one mountie to record w/ others down the road to pull ’em over).
State Route 111
Either a gold or a blue unmarked Chevy Impla ,usually parked on right side of West Hollis St. or in a parking lot (e.g. Salvation Army Store , Dunkin Donuts etc. )
