Pembroke, New Hampshire Speed Traps
Broadway – bottom of hill
I worked with the construction crew that fixed up the Broadway road and surrounding streets. Before the roads were paved I was talking with a few officers and they commented how they were gonna sit there at the bottom of the hill cause they know people will fly. I live on Broadway and sure enough they sit at the bottom often. People always get pulled over. The only way to avoid going over the 25MPH is to ride your brakes the whole way down, kinda annoying!
North Pembroke Rd going west between Borough Rd and Rt. 106.
Road is a significant downhill with easy turns. Police park at the bottom of the hill on the left side. Even in a reduced gear with no accelerator you can easily exceed the 30 mph limit by 20 mph.
Ironically, going east is more dangerous as the intersection at Borough Rd has restricted views.
US Rt 3/getty
hides next to the dumpster at night. virtually impossible to spot heading south.
US Rt 3/mobil
mobil right after langs ice cream, hides in the fuel area at night. enough lighting so that if your cautious the cruiser can be spotted.
Rt 3./Pembroke Street
Officers will often sit in Lang’s Ice Cream parking lot. There is a slight hill before you approach the lot so once you see the cruiser it is too late.
