Beachwood, New Jersey Speed Traps
Wave St off of Mizzen Ave
During the AM commute, seen around 7AM, patrol car parked on a 45 degree angle across Wave St to clock vehicles northbound on Mizzen.
Just south of Rt 9 and Atlantic City Blvd junction
In the evening, seen around 9-9:30pm, parked in the dark corner across from Capri Pizza, clocking vehicles northbound on Rt 9.
Where rt 9 and 166 divide
Per capita there are more cops in Beachwood then any place in the world. It’s why they write so many tickets, as said in an earlier post, they will set up a motor vehicle inspection point at this juncture. Throughout the town they pull you over for bad sticker, plates not clear, headlight are funny, too much tint on windows, you get the point. this is not a town to mess with. If you get pulled over you will get a ticket! Avoid this town if you can, but if you must travel through it be wary
US Highway rt 9 near State Highway rt 9 and 166 access
There are usually beachwood officers hiding behind a drunken driving sign where rt 9 and rt 166 divide. On tuesday mornings between about 9am and 1 am there is usually a motor vehicle inspection stop.. the officers block off the u-turns and are usually standing mid lane going south onto rt 9 in front of the Lutheran Church you wont see the stop until it is too late to avoid it
