Brielle, New Jersey Speed Traps

Police sit near McCarthy’s Marine store or parking lot at the intersection of Rte 70 and Shore Dr. facing the south bound traffic just prior to the Rte 70 bridge over the Manasquan River. Posted speed limit is 50 mph.

In Brielle First Aid Building parking light looking north. Speed limit is 30 mph.

The Brielle Police sit at the exit ramp to the Brielle business center and Ashley Ave. They sit facing you as you come off the Rt. 35 bridge with their lights out under the tree. They sit there during the day as well.Be careful!

It is in the first-aid parking lot next to the cemetery on Old Bridge Road, just as you cross highway 35 going towards Manasquan. There is a lot of foliage surounding the parking lot and you will not see them until you are right next to them.

Going Northbound over the Manasquan River Bridge into Brielle, cops sit on a grass island right after the first turnoff. It’s very dark there and difficult to see them until it’s too late. Local & State Troopers like to drive over the bridge southbound hoping to catch northbound drivers. There is a 10 mph difference in speed limits on either side of the bridge
