Sunburst Avenue near River Road
Speed limit of 25MPH is strictly enforced. That’s not so bad, except that the road is on an incline, so it’s almost impossible to stay under the limit. By the time you get down towards River Road (Snakehill Road), the cop is waiting to get you from his hiding place behind the fence with a radar gun. To be honest, I’ve been stopped here, but they let me go with a warning.
Merrill Avenue near Milltown Road
Unmarked car waits after the curve at the end of the one way on Merrill Avenue. Usually when the high school ends their day.
Ryders Lane near State Route 1
Every morning an officer waits by the exit from Route 1. Be careful passing through this area any faster than the posted 50 mph.
State Highway Route 18 South near Milltown Road Street
They have one police officer out of there car sitting with a radar gun under the bridge of Cranbury Road then they have a couple of uints sitting and waiting in 6th Aves parking lot once the get a victim
State Highway 18 South near Bordentown Avenue
East Brunswick Police will use either an unmarked cruiser or motorcycle cop in the grassy area or shoulder near the exit for Bordentown Ave from Rt 18 South to shoot Laser and/or Radar. The speed limit is 45MPH on a 3 lane state highway in an area with no intersections or traffic lights. The area is also on a prominent degrade making it easier to accelerate.
