Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey Speed Traps

They park on the north bound side in the turn lane before Old Egg Harbor Road (also known as the Old Tilton Road) there is a Hotel on the corner.

At the intersection of Fire Road & Tilton Road, the set in 2 different places. They can either be found in the Sunoco Station ( at that intersetion on the south side) or they sit in the middle of the road ( at the intersection on the north side) between the north bound and the south bound turn lane (right in front of the Jiffylube).

Speed limit is 35mph and is not well posted. The EHT police sit off to the side of the road and use instant-on radar. Most people do 45-50 through that area.

A police car will conspicuosly sit in the median at the Jaguar dealer on the Black Horse Pike. It is obvious once you get close but the road is straight for a long distance, so they can see you coming from about a mile and a half away.

As you drive down the Lane, there is a spot that Opens up toasandy area onthe side ofthe road. They usually park right there, and you can’t see them until it’s too late. the speed limit was 25, but has been raised to 35, but they will pull you over for even one mile over,so watch out.
