The constant variations in speed the entire length of the highway make it easy to get picked off when you don’t even realize the speed changed. The lack of passing zones adds to the frustraion when you finally get a chance to go around the idiot who chooses to do 30m.p.h. the whole way!

Route 46 West exiting Mount Olive down the long hill towards hackettstown. At the Park & Ride lot he waits almost everyday daytime hours and some weekends. Especially weekend late night hours. Usually as you pick up speed as you travel down this huge hill you speed above the 45 MPH zone. The police usually wait hidden around the turn next to the Park & Lock parking lot. Facing traffic they zap you with radar, then immediately pull out after you. He gets a lot of motorists each day. He pulled me over because he didn’t recognize my new inspection sticker.
