Marin Boulevard near Shop-Rite
Right around the Shop Rite Plaza, there’s a marked car sitting on either side of the road looking for cars going over 25mph. They won’t pull anyone doing an illegal U-turn but will definately pull you over if you are speeding.
Washington Boulevard near Mall Drive
The roads in and around the Newport Mall area. Be careful because not only are Jersey City Police giving tickets, the Port Authority is handing speeding tickets, as well as tickets for not coming to a complete stop at stop signs. I see people pulled over on Washington Blvd, Marin Blvd, Mall Drive, you name it…every street in that area. A ticket can be as high as $300. The Police regularly tuck themselves away near loading docks, side streets, etc. Be careful.
