The police in this town milk this boardwalk tourist destination for everything that it’s worth. Make sure your lights all work before you go. Go 1 or 2 miles below the speed limit just to make sure. The squad car is usually located in a parking space infront of the batting cages, just before the enterance to the Amusement park Parking lot. Although in the winter enforcement is lax here on weekdays, it is still highly enforced on the weekends. In the summer months this spot goes from moderate to EXTREMELY HIGH. Expect to be pulled over if you are going AT LEAST 1 mile over the speed limit. Yes, you can be pulled over in this town for doing 26 in a 25. In most cases it is best to just avoid this trap altogether by traveling down Shore Blvd.
