Long Valley, New Jersey Speed Traps

just after you leave mt olive, but before hackettstown is a small stretch of long valley. before the target plaza when coming down hill on rt 46 west, washington township police are waiting at bottom

The local cops sit in a driveway on a downhill section of Naughright where the speed limit is 30. They are there every morning 7:15 – 7:45 (to catch high school kids late for school) and every afternoon 2:30 – 3:15 (to catch high school kids going home from school) They target young drivers. Go to municipal court on any given thursday and thats who’s there "copping their plea"

Sits in a driveway just west of Equestrian Center.
This is the main road between Califon and Stephensburg,
easy to go 50-55 in a 40.
X-band instant on. Early evening but after dark (november).
Officer was kind and wrote me up at 49 but had me at 57.
