Middlesex, New Jersey Speed Traps
Mountain avenue and south avenue
As you come over the railroad overpass there is a cop hiding on the left side of the street. Sometimes they are super aggressive and drive up quickly behind you and tailgate to entice you into speeding.
Shepherd Avenue Between Mountain and Route 28
25 MPH here all the way…many people come off Rt 22 onto Mountain Avenue and then take Shepherd into Middlesex…even Bridgewater police monitor their tiny strip of the road near the Mountain Avenue end! Any time, day or night…just don’t speed on this stretch at all!
NJ Garden State Parkway near Mile Marker 113.4
State Police are always sitting on the left side going south bound. He is there everyday between 12:30p and 1:30p unless of course he already snagged someone. There is a No U-turn sign right before where you normally would think he is but he’s not he’s just after that sitting pretty. From mi. marker 114 I would stay in the right lane as you go the next mile and you should be ok.
