It’s in Monroe (Middlesex County) on Federal Road, heading away from Perrineville Road, toward Englishtown. A police car sits on the right hand side.
New Jersey Turnpike near 8A Rest Area/ North Bound, cars only
In the northbound lanes on the car side, right after the old un-used entrance ramp from the northbound side rest area at 8A, there is usually a trooper sitting behind the abutment. Also, there is usually one sitting right after the currently used entrance ramp onto the cars only side.
Union Valley Road near Perrineville Road
Part of this road is only 30 MPH. Surrounding road average 40 MPH. So, you might not even notice but the road has a few hills on it and the police like to sit on the side of the road and once you see them…too late!
Broad Street near Black Horse Pike & Princeton Street
Police car will be park in lot with Hollywood Tans or across the street from that. 25mph speed zone strickly inforced. Will ticket if even 5 miles over.
Applegarth Road near Union Valley Road
The speed limit is 45 MPH. The local school has a 35 MPH limit when children are present. It is up to the Monroe cops if children are present, and to them they always are. Always stay under the speed limit on Applegarth. Slow down at the school and mind your manners at the four way stop at Applegarth and Old Church Road. The Monroe cops love to grab people who don’t make a textbook stop.
Monroe cops use marked and unmarked cars. They listen to no excuses. If they pull you over, you are getting the biggest ticket that they can write.
