Montclair, New Jersey Speed Traps
Edgemont Road
Cops love to hide in the park at night or during sunset in their cars and wait for speeding cars coming down Edgemont Road. They rarely hide in there during the day, due to the park and visiblity but definitely do at night. In addition, the other side of the park (Valley Road) is also a popular spot for cops to pull cars over.
Bellevue Ave, past Grove towards Broad, downhill stretch
After you pass Grove on the way down the hill on Bellevue, and just before Brookdale Park the cops like to radar people coming down.
Try making a quick right into the park if you think you’ve been snagged, you may be able to evade the officer while he’s busy making a u-turn.
