New Brunswick, New Jersey Speed Traps
US Highway 1 North, near State Highway 18 South ramp
There is sometimes a NBPD patrol car parked on the grass near the high-tension power lines. The posted speed limit is 50, but the flow of traffic in the left lane easily hits 70-75mph, so be careful…
University Road between Tices La. & Eggers St.
Five EB Police Cars waiting to pull over 10 cars at a time stating they all went over the 25 mph speed limit. The road is obviously too busy to go that slow! It’s designed to catch unsuspecting drivers doing 30-35 appropriately! BTW… it’s always done the last few days of the month. Definitely a speed trap!

Easton Avenue near Between light at Franklin Bvld. & St. Peters Hospital 25 mph zone
SUNDAY – Officer of the N.B.P.D. loves to pull people over on this stretch of Easton, particularly on Sundays. It is a 25 mph zone, but if you are headed east into the city, you are travelling down a hill, from a 45 mph zone. Beware!
