Northfield, New Jersey Speed Traps

Just past Rt9 and Titon Rd intersection, someone (supposedly an officer) steps out from curb into "crosswalk" without any advanced warning. You don’t even see him as you go by. Within the next block another officer tells you to pull over (into a court) where there are a few more to check license, registration, insurance; and to give a "warning". At least 8 other cars were stopped, so none of us saw this "person" trying to cross. Seeems a little strange. Are they looking for something else and this gives them the OK to pull people over?

They hide in 3 different locations on this road between Tilton Road & Mill Road. They can be found in the Yale School Parking lot, the Firehouse Parking lot and the ball fields parking lot (in front of Birch Grove Park). The speed limit is 25 there.

Plain clothes officer stands on the corner at the drugstore and signals to officers waiting down the street if you are on your cell while driving.

They wait on the side of road in front of a house ..waiting for a car to come out of Pleasentville..speed limit is 25…so easy to go 40 there…..bam ur tagged…..

Driving into Northfield from Margate, cop on right hand side in the weeds. Watch for speed trap, but especially watch for DUI checkpoint during the summer holidays. Also dont try to cut the yellow line to make a left-hand turn at the intersection, cops hides behind trees outside of patrol car to make his bust.
