County Line Road near State Route 22
There are several points along County Line Rd. where the cops usually sit, sometimes in dark/unmarked cars and hiding in side streets. There are 3 spots up near Harlan School Rd. and a couple at the other end of the road near Rt. 22. One end of the road is residential where the speed limit is 25, and the other end of the road goes through an industrial park where the limit is 35. I have seen many people stopped, particularly in the industrial park where they also get tractor-trailers for various violations. I work in the industrial park and was pulled over and given a warning for my tint (can’t have tint on front windows in NJ). Be careful – Readington and Branchburg cops can be nasty. I was lucky to only receive a warning.
US Highway 202 near Pleasant Run Road
Police park at the turn off for Pleasant Run road. There is a spot for cars turning onto the road. Next to this spot is a location with diagonal yellow lines where cops often park with their lights off. The location is dark and semi-treelined so they can be hard to see when cresting the nearby hill.
Rt. 202 South Across From Burgers Honda
Going south on 202 across the street from Burgers Honda, there is a small little turn around. The cop sits there, usually in the morning, but he is there other times as well. As long as your going with the flow, you will be fine. This car has no light bars on top so watch out.
