Ridgefield Park, New Jersey Speed Traps

Queen Anne road in Teaneck has a 35mph speed limit. It turns into Main Street in Ridgefield Park which has a 25mph speed limit. Police will park on side streets off of Main and clock drivers heading south. The road is a gradual decline and it’s very easy to do 40 if you don’t slow down coming out of Teaneck.

Patrol Cars will park infront of a lane of cars on the road and making it look hidden or like any another car, also patrol cars will park inside the public park Mcgowan Park visibly.

A patrol car is often in a parking lot on the left around the bend as cars enter Ridgefield Park from Ridgefield via the Hendricks Causeway. Cars gain speed after coming down from the crown in the bridge that goes over Route 95, and they clock them as they come to the base of the bridge by Steve’s Lunch. They can also get cars leaving Ridgefield Park going the opposite direction. Speed limit is 25 mph.

Driving West-North from Ridgefield to Ridgefield Park on the Hendricks Causeway/which in R.P. becomes Bergen Tpk, after the overpass (I-95 New Jersey Turnpike below) near the PSE&G Energy Plant. The speed limit is 25m/h and after descending the overpass is easy to hit 35-40m/h effortless.
