As mentioned in a previous posting, the area around the entrance from 23S to 287S is a known location for enforcement. Motorists should note that the speed limit drops from 55 to 45 on this step downhill stretch of 23S before it returns to 50 at the bend at the bottom of the hill.

Police car frequently sits along side hway clocking vehicles coming down the hill.
