Rockaway, New Jersey Speed Traps
Main Street at PNC Bank driveway
Rockaway Boro Police sit in the driveway of the PNC bank and clock cars going east and westbound. It is a dangerous intersection with Wall street intersecting at that point, creating a three way bottleneck, and no traffic signal. The drivers are left to their own sense of cooperation. There are three crosswalks at this point, creating a double whammy for drivers, as the police will also cite you for not yielding to pedestrians. A revenue booster for sure.
Rt.46 both EB and WB at Main St. Intersection
Rockaway Borough patrol cars tend to use the parking lot of an old laundromat to observe traffic. And since it straddles the town line, Denville Police await in the parking lot across the street, a double whammy if your not careful.
