The road is a double yellow line connecting to route 9. There is no speed limits signs until you go under the little bridge. Police sit in Roller rink Parking lot or VFW parking lot

Cop sits in parking lot on right if you are traveling north on main street.
He has radar for speeders and also tickets for illegal left turns before 10 AM.

Right on the corner of broadway and bordentown cops usually sit there to see if anyone runs the stop signs or speeds past on broadway because its only a two sided stop intersection and usually the drivers on boradway don’t slow down.

Police Officer parks Car alongside FireHouse or parks on FireHouse driveway, tracks vehicles traveling East on Bordentown Ave.past Hospital Radar detectors give false readings due to X-ray equipment at Hospital,

Lower Main street heading into So. Amboy from the RT. 35 circle. Also known as Abe Corb road. This desolate road for as far back as I can remember (better than 30 years) was a 50 mph speed limit. Now it has dropped to a disgustingly low 25 mph and there still no houses higher pedestrian existence on this road. Two businesses set in about 25 yards from the road. That’s it. The 50 mph zone was there long after those business where there and long before them too. I see this as a money making opportunity to the tiny shore community. BEWARE!
