State Highway 46 near Main Street

In the driveway of St. Mary’s Church there is sometimes a Wharton cop that sits observing the East & West bound traffic on Rt. 46. He is there sporatically and is just as likely looking for bad inspection stickers or plate problems as he is speeders.

State Route 634 near State Route 46/ Dewey Ave

All over State Rte 634 (Main Street), Wharton Police will camp looking for speeders. Speed Limit is 25 mph with a small sign underneath "Strictly Enforced". They are not kidding either.
