Angola, New York Speed Traps

The police hide behind the dumpster at Peppers Restaurant on the corner of Old Lakeshore and Bennett Road or park in the driveways of Cradle Beach Camp. Shoot radar both ways, mostly getting people coming from beach bars. Always there on a sunny day !

Coming or going the State Police and Brant Police sit and wait at the park exit going toward the Rez or they wait in a private driveway going towards Angola. The Brant Police are the worst for giving tickets.

Police cars will sit in the parking lot of a summer camp on the corner of Lake shore road and Herr road, and catch anyone going over the speedlimit, even a litte bit.

Rest area is positioned in between the east and westbound lanes causing the interstate to separate. The employee parking lots are accessed from the left lane and there is an emergency u-turn spot on both sides of the rest area. Cops commonly sit here taking speeds. They can be viewed from the rest area skywalks.
