Grand Central Parkway near South bound Triborough Bridge
If you’re traveling on the Triborough Bridge to Queens from either Manhattan or the Bronx BE CAREFUL! The Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority Patrol is out in force! They sit on the right hand shoulder directly under the South bridge tower. They use hand-held radar Ka band, pace your speed, and have dash-mount units. I don’t condone speeding but the speed limit is 40mph. Doing 60mph can get you into court with HEFTY fines!
Pelham Parkway near East on Pelham as you approach Hutchinson pkwy entrance
Speed limit on this Parkway is Unrealistic at 35 MPH. Everyone seems to be doing 50 to 60MPH on what is known as a Parkway. If you don’t go out of your way to see the 35MPH signs and you just keep up with flow of traffic you’ll do 50-60MPH and be at high risk for a ticket.
