Border Patrol or State Police often park at this entrance hoping to catch speeders.

The town cop here in cape vincent is watching people hard, you can’t so much as fart without him showing up to find out why. i’ve caught him hiding in the village office parking lot waiting for speeders to come from the 55mph that changes to a 30 going into town, also if you want to go out to dinner then park far from where you plan on eating; you might ask why i say that, i say it because he drives past most of the bars/restaurants several times an hour taking inventory of who is where.
