Commack, New York Speed Traps

Always during school hours in the vicinity of both the Commack North High School and the Elementary school just North of the H.S. Often the cop hides behind a TREE and due to the extremely heavy traffic volume, does speed enforcement on foot!

The police car usually sits on Holly down and away from the corner where you can’t see him until you are in the intersection. Better make a full stop or they will immediately be behind you with lights flashing. No quick stops here – I was even falsely accused of not wearing my seatbelt.

Every day, at different times of the day; but usually at 9-11am, and around 7-9pm a police car sits duck; waiting for people to speed down Commack Road Between Laurinda Drive and Hauppaugue Road/New Highway

Cop Cars Sit in the Christ the King Church Parking Lot Getting Speeders South On Indian Head Road. Also Sometimes sit Across the Street by the Light acrros from the Church.
