All around Cuba Lake
North and South Shore Roads are located around the entire lake. The speed limit is 30 MPH. There is a zero tolerance for speed over the posted limit. The police are constantly monitoring this area and issuing tickets.
Interstate 86 near Exit Number 28
Work zone near Exit 28(milepost 90-94), both East and Westbound is regularly enforced by the State Police. Posted limit is normally 65 MPH but in the work zone it’s 45 MPH. My buddy got bagged for 62 in a 45 in a tractor trailer. This was on Easter Sunday and no workers were working. The fine cost him $455 and he lost his CDL for 6 months, so he got fired from his job too. They told him the work zone will be there until at least the end of 2008!
