Melville Rd near Farmingdale State College
State University Police frequently wait between Alexander Ave and Route 110 on Melville Rd near Farmingdale State College enforcing the speed limit aggressively. One usually waits on the grass near the running track and another on the curve entering Melville Rd from Route 110.
rte. 109 eastbound (fulton st.) and gwynne lane
State road.A lot of 109 is checked,but this is hot spot. Gwynne lane is dead end side st. they hide their motorcycles there and walk to corner with hand held radar.
Melville Road near Secatogue Road
Anywhere on Melville Road from the Farmingdale NYS College (just off of Route 110) to Main Street, but primarily around the Secatogue Road intersection (just before Main Street, it is the road to turn on to get to the Farmingdale Train Station), police motorcycles and cars are often waiting to check Speed, Stop signs, Red Lights, and Registration. Especially near the end of each month.
Do the right thing and slow down. It’s a well travelled main road but houses and kids are in the area.
Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway near Exit Number 7 east
The cop is hidden on a median on top of a hill and by the time you see him he has already gotten you clocked.
