Coming out of the Village of Galway heading East on Cnty Rt. 45 the speed limit is 35 mph. They park in the parking lot of the Lions Club and by the time you see them it’s too late. You need to be careful heading West too. They use St Mary’s Church also which is just up the road.
State Highway 147 near Bill’s Dugout on Left
As you are heading north on Route 147 into the village of Galway, slow down BEFORE the speed zone coming into the village. The speed limit transitions from 55mph to 35mph on a long downhill straight away, and it’s very easy to coast into town and get yourself a ticket. There are a number of places for the cops to hide just after the 35mph speed zone and they just love catching people who don’t decelerate quick enough.
